A 3 Sprout went to the Art Gallery of Ontario this weekend to view "Picasso: Masterpieces from the Musee National Picasso, Paris". While there she saw a number of the Picasso favs:
Celestina (The Woman with One-Eye)
studies for Les Demoiselles d’Avignon
Two Women Running on the Beach (The Race)
But it was Picasso’s small lyrical drawing of a camel that had this sprout transfixed. Simply drawn, a pencil scratch against a white page, Picasso’s line is sure and lyrical never leaving the page before just enough information is given...leaving us with a smile.
